Section 01 / The headline feature · 10:00 AM
This is the thing that makes Leaforo different from almost everyone else in Las Cruces. There's a lane, there's a window, and you never have to get out of the car. It runs the full twelve hours we're open, seven days a week, in rain, in July heat, and at half past nine at night when getting out of the car is the last thing you want to do.
Both the lane and the counter run 10am–10pm, every day. If the window's busy, inside usually isn't — and the other way round.

Four things. Get them out before you're at the glass and the whole transaction takes under a minute — which everyone behind you will also appreciate.
Section 03 / Honest limits · 11:00 AM
A drive-thru is brilliant for a known order and a bit limited for everything else. Here's where the counter inside is genuinely the better choice — no hard feelings either way.
CashApp works in store only. At the lane and at the curb it's cash or debit. There's an ATM inside if you need to pull cash — though that does rather defeat the point of not getting out.
We can describe things, and we will, but you can't look at six jars side by side from a car. If you want to choose by eye and nose, come inside — it's a small room and it doesn't take long.
Perfectly allowed, just slower — and there may be a car behind you. Thirty seconds on the phone before you set off turns the window into a pure collection.
Every visit. Every person. No exceptions for regulars, for people obviously in their fifties, or for anyone in a hurry. It's the law and it's the licence.
Section 04 / The other way to stay put · 11:30 AM
Same idea as the drive-thru, different shape. You park out front, we come to you. It's the better option if the lane is backed up, if you're in something that doesn't love a tight turn, or if you simply prefer sitting still to queueing.
It's also, quietly, an accessibility feature. If getting out of the car is difficult on a given day, curbside means you don't have to — and nobody needs to explain why.
Section 05 / The room itself · 12:10 PM
Leaforo is a cozy boutique dispensary — small on purpose. There's no rope line, no warehouse aisle, and no queue system that makes you feel like you're renewing a driving licence.
You come through the door, someone greets you and checks your ID, and then you're at the counter with a person who knows the shelf. That's the whole layout. Because the room is small, the conversation is the product: you can ask the question you're slightly embarrassed to ask, and take as long as you need over it.
If you've never been in a dispensary before, the useful thing to know is that nobody expects you to know anything. "I've never done this" is the most common opening line in the shop, and it always gets a proper answer. Section 06 / Thirty seconds on the phone · 12:45 PM
Online ordering isn't live yet, so the phone is how you skip the deciding. Somebody picks up between 10am and 10pm, and they can see the shelf while they're talking to you.
You don't need a script, but if you'd like one, here's what makes the call fast:
Hi — I'd like to order ahead for the drive-thru.Or “for curbside”, or “for pickup at the counter”. Tells us where to leave it.
Here's what I'm after…A format, a rough budget, and how you like to take it. If you don't know, say so — that's a normal call too.

When online ordering does go live, every “order” button on this site will switch over automatically — nothing for you to go hunting for.
Section 07 / The one thing you can't forget · 1:30 PM
You must be 21 or older, and you must be able to prove it with an unexpired government-issued photo ID. Every visit. Every person. At the counter, at the window, and at the car.
An expired licence is not a valid ID, however recently it expired and however clearly it's you in the photo. If yours has run out, sort that first — there's genuinely nothing we can do at the counter.
A photo of your licence on your phone isn't an ID. Neither is a photocopy, a screenshot, or a friend vouching for you. Bring the card.
Las Cruces sits close to a lot of borders and we see IDs from everywhere. Any US state, plus passports and military IDs. The age is what matters, not the state on the front.
We check it even if you were in yesterday, even if we know your name. That's not us being difficult — it's the condition of holding a licence to sell at all, and a shop that gets casual about it doesn't stay open.
Not for a friend who left theirs at home, not for someone waiting in the car, not for anyone under 21 in any circumstance. The answer is no, it will always be no, and asking just makes an awkward moment for both of us.

Section 09 / Everybody in the room · 2:25 PM
Anyone 21 or over with a valid photo ID. That's the whole rule, and it applies to everybody who walks through the door — not just the person paying. If your friend is coming in to look around, they need their ID too.
Nobody under 21 can come into a licensed adult-use sales area in New Mexico. That includes teenagers, children, and babies. It isn't a house preference we could be talked out of; it's a condition of the licence, and it's the reason the drive-thru and curbside exist — if there's someone under 21 in the car, that's exactly what the window is for.
The same goes for buying on someone else's behalf. Purchasing for anyone under 21 is illegal, and it is the fastest way for a shop to lose its licence. Please don't put us in that position.

Section 10 / Finding the door · 3:00 PM
We're on West Amador Avenue in Las Cruces, in Suite 101. The suite number is the bit worth remembering — it's what tells you you're at the right unit rather than the right building.
Set the address in your phone before you set off and let it do the work; W Amador is easy to drive past if you're watching the traffic instead of the numbers. If you can't spot the drive-thru lane on your first pass, don't circle the block guessing — call 575-449-4705 and we'll talk you in.
Section 11 / The car · 3:20 PM
There's parking on site. You don't need to hunt for street spaces, feed a meter, or park three blocks away and walk.
If the lot looks full, the drive-thru lane and curbside are both there precisely so you don't have to wait for a space. Whichever you use, keep your purchase sealed once you're back in the car — cannabis may not be consumed in a vehicle or anywhere else in public in New Mexico, and that includes the parking lot you're currently sitting in.
Please don't consume anything in the lot. It's the one thing that puts a dispensary's licence at genuine risk, and it's an easy thing to not do.
Section 12 / Getting in · 3:40 PM
The shop is wheelchair accessible. It's also a small room, which in practice means short distances and no long aisles to navigate.
Both exist for convenience and both work just as well as access options. If getting out of the car is difficult on a given day, you don't have to, and you don't have to explain.

Leaforo is pet-friendly. Well-behaved pets are welcome inside — on a lead, under control, and ideally not attempting to eat the display.
Two serious notes attached to the fun one. First, on a hot Las Cruces afternoon, please don't leave an animal in a parked car while you come in; the drive-thru exists and takes a fraction of the time. Second, and more importantly: keep everything you buy well out of reach of pets at home. Edibles smell like food to a dog and cannabis is genuinely harmful to animals. Sealed packaging, up high, every time. If a pet does get into something, call a vet immediately.

Right there in the shop, so a cash-forward purchase doesn't mean a detour to your bank first.
It's worth knowing about before you arrive for one specific reason: the ATM is inside. If you're planning to use the drive-thru or curbside and you're relying on cash, either bring it with you or come in — you can't reach the machine from the lane.

Cannabis is still awkward with banks, so dispensary payment rules look strange from the outside. Ours are simple, and much easier to know before you're at the window than after.
If you're doing drive-thru or curbside, bring cash or a debit card. That's the whole trick.

Section 16 / A small tip · 5:25 PM
Not because we're funny about cards — debit works fine — but because cash removes every variable. No terminal, no connection, no fees to think about, no card that turns out to be a credit card in disguise. You hand it over, you get change, you're gone.
It matters most at the window and at the curb, where the whole point is speed. If you already know roughly what you'll spend, bringing it in cash turns a two-minute stop into a forty-second one.
And if you forget: the ATM is inside. Just remember you'll have to come in to reach it.

Section 18 / Planning the trip · 6:30 PM
We can't promise you an empty lane on a Friday night, and we're not going to invent a number. What we can tell you is what makes it fast and what makes it slow.
The order is bagged before you arrive. It's ID, payment, package. That's the whole stop, at the window or at the counter.
You name the format, we pull it, we ring it up. Quick inside, slightly slower at the window because there may be a car behind you.
This is a proper conversation and it should be. Come inside for it rather than doing it at the window, and give yourself a bit of time. It's the best version of the visit.
Try the other. When the lane is queuing the counter often isn't, and vice versa. A quick call tells you which is quieter right now.

No surprises, no jargon, nothing you're expected to already know.
Counter, drive-thru or curbside. If it's your first time and you want to see things, come inside. If you know what you want, the window is faster.
At the door, at the window, or at your car. It takes seconds and it happens every single time.
Not a strain name — a sentence. “I've never done this, I don't want to be knocked sideways, and I've got work tomorrow.” Experience level, how you'd like to take it, rough budget. We'll take it from there.
Cash, debit, or CashApp inside. Everything leaves in sealed, labelled exit packaging with the batch and the warnings printed on it.

Section 20 / The drive home · 8:00 PM
Four rules, all of them New Mexico law rather than house style. None of them are complicated.
In the sealed exit packaging, out of reach — not open on the passenger seat. Cannabis may not be consumed in a vehicle in New Mexico, moving or parked.
New Mexico treats impaired driving as impaired driving regardless of the substance, and there's no legal amount that makes it fine. If you've consumed, get a ride.
Not the lot, not the sidewalk, not a park, not your car. Private property, with the owner's permission. Hotels and landlords can and often do say no.
Cannabis is federally illegal, so taking it across any border — including into Texas, which is a short drive from Las Cruces — is against the law. Airports and tribal land have their own rules too.
Original child-resistant packaging, up high or locked. Edibles look like sweets to a child and smell like food to a dog. This is the one that matters most at home.
It's the only record of what the product is, which batch it's from and when it was packaged. Don't decant your purchase into an unmarked jar.
